I made this starbella ruffle skirt after finding a free pattern.

It's actually more like a ruffle tutu. I purposely made it short for my 3 year old daughter for playtime. I am making another one that's a little longer (by spacing the ruffle a little further apart) so that she can wear it without leggings and as an actual skirt for Christmas. She really loves this one, so I thought it'd be a fun gift.

It's a unique skirt, certainly not one I've ever seen that you can buy in stores. I think I may be making skirts for all my friends who have daughters for their birthdays lol

I used one "Fly a Kite" starbella skein.

Here is the pattern I used http://bfranklincrafts.blogspot.com/2012/03/how-to-knit-starbella-ruffle-skirt_29.html

That is so adorable, and I have been looking for a pattern for one for ages!  I tried the link and for some reason it didn't work but found it elsewhere, I'll post it in case it helps anyone.
