Been meaning to make a rag garland for awhile now. Finally decided to make a red and green one for Christmas.

closeup of some of the fabrics:

It turned out to be a great way to de-stash some of my fabric. I didn't buy a single new one for this project. Amazing! Wink I have a bunch of leftover pieces already cut. I might have to make another one.

I really love this. Why have I never thought of this idea?

Thanks Knickertwist!

ana: I know! I had to see one made by someone else (forgot where now) awhile ago. I thought the same thing. It really was nice to use up fabric I had laying around for ages!

Great idea. I like how the garland uses natural material and is very fluffy.
