Honeydukes sweet shop

So for the Harry Potter Holiday swap I decided to make my partner  the fabulous Spikefan a Mini Honeydukes sweets shop.  I used a ceramic dollar tree house to start with and lots of honeydukes images and combined them.  I added polymer clay to the ceramic house to form a new facade.

I added clay for the door, the store front window, the windows on the roof and all the snow. Then I went back in and painted a chocolate frog display and a beartie bots beans display in the other window.  A long with a matching the brick color to the images.
I'm really pleased with house and I can't wait to make more.  C&C welcome

Thank you ehinders. I added the polymer clay in batches and baked it and re-baked it

Thank you all so much for the nice comments.  I am definetly going to work on a hogsmeade town.It will  have to be for next christmas though to many christmas presents to finish first

I love this idea! Never thought about using a crap dollar ceramic house as a base before. My world will never be the same...
