Terra Cotta pot wreath with succulents and moss

Yes, I am a hopeless follower of many pinterest boards, and this was completely inspired by one project going around. I saw it and fell in love and went right out and bought myself a twiggy wreath and a pile of small pots at the craft store. I changed a few things and didn't really follow the related tutorial...  I'm impatient and wanted that aged look on the pots without having to find actual old/used pots, so I used my stamp pigments and smudged a bunch of color (white, mossy green, brown) to make them look a little less uniform. After I wired all the pots to the wreath (which was made mostly from vines and dead plant material), I poked moss into the gaps to make it look fuller.

Pictures are from before I actually had a wreath hanger for my door That was a smart move... Luckily no accidents in the few days that the wreath had to sit on the chair like that.

hehe, I wish this was the truth. My front door is underground and gets absolutely no sun. I thought the relatively high humidity with it being underground would help, but without sun, they have pretty much shriveled up and most have died :/ Until we buy I house, I might put fake ones in.... it just goes against my principles though

Awe!  that's to bad.  But you can always keep it mostly together until you have a sunny place to hang it!
