Dobby with thread 3 ways

this is more of a craft experiment than a food one. i had never made a soft scultpture before, but my partner in harry potter  swap loved house elves so i gave it a try. my kids had a hard time letting him go, so i think i will be making another. maybe next time he will get a body as well.

i only have the one picture. he is made of felt and hand stitched with sewing thread. his big green eyes are embroidered with floss, and his hat is crochet from thin yarn. the hat was actually the gauge test for a hat for my son. it is much to small for a human head. after he was photographed i also whipped up a quick scarf for him.  dobby upon arrival at his new home

Adorable, I wouldn't have let him go either.  I just love the expression you were able to do on the elf.  He looks just like Dolby.
