This is inspired by Mark Montano's Big Ass Book of Crafts #2. He had a three tiered necklace using chains. So I decided since I crochet, I could do this with yarn.

Sorry this is sideways. This is a set of fingerless gloves and the yoyo necklace, Inspired by the yoyoalong.

Still needs something? Right?

Bows. LOL, a little girlish.

This is for my partner in BBW swap and tracking says she is receiving today. Maybe she will not see this until after she receives.

I did one with marker dyed doily thread, but the shots didn't do it justice. But that was a fun experience anyway.

Those look like a lot of fun.  I love the colour too. Do you have a pattern for the mittens?

Just made them up. choose 20, 25 or 30 single chains to desired length.

2 chains and dc in third stitch and continue to end with dc

Do two full rows of dc.

On third row (not counting chains) dc in first 4 stitches. Chain 4 (thumb opening) and dc to end.

Do one more row of dc.

On the next row dc 8 stiches, just past the opening, and then 4 single crochets, to make is smaller at wrist area.

Do 2 more rows of dc.

Do another row of the dc with single crochets at same spot as you did previously.

Normally 11 rows total is enough, if your beginning string is on the same end, sc another row so it ends at other end. Then just do slip stitches to both sides to join. Tie off when both ends meet.

Does this make sense?

My partner received, so I'm hoping to get an action shot. The color is very vibrant, I got it at Big Lots.

Thanks for the pattern.  I'd like to have a go at making them.
