acrylic or oil based? what say ye?....i am leaning towards acylics but want to make a good decision here....my father and i are looking at doing some yard crafts for some extra spending cash

any help?...my brothers says oil based, that it will seep into the wood and last longer, i am leaning towards acrylic though...kinda clueless here

Well I agree with what your brother suggested. I think that the same oil based paint will be better. It will prevent it to absorb moisture and other thing which effects your wood crafts.

I also agree with your brother that oil paint is best for wood as it last longer and also preserve it from moisture. So, I think you must go according to your brothers advice.
