. . . went the strings of my heart

My thread art creation is of a heart! The threads are from lovely red and purple raw silk fabrics. I saved this mass of threads from previous projects I completed; and it seemed to naturally form into the shape of a heart. I knew someday I'd craft it into a card. I'm glad I discovered this Craftster challenge last week. and made this hanging heart card over the weekend! My title was inspired by the song lyric, "Zing went the strings of my heart!" (Note: I attached the heart to the cardstock with glue and red metallic thread. I also used a (thicker) red metallic thread to make the hanging loop. And the ellipses are made of a black thread.)





As a new member needing "10 posts before uploading images," how do I "post links" to my pictures of my "Just Thread It!" creation?  I'm a better crafter than 'puter wiz! Help, please, anyone . . . :-)

Please just put the links to where you've uploaded your pics (craftster photo hosting is easy to use!) and a moderator will put the pics in for you. Don't forget to tell us how you made your awesome project!   Hit "modify" and you can change and add things, then "save" when you're done.

You must have somehow deleted it before you saved it Your post hasn't been edited by you or a moderator so that's all I can think of. Once it's been edited it will say when and by whom (and if a mod does it, why). You can see I edited my first post and now this one too (I typo'd and then went back in and fixed it).

Lovely and a great way to use loose threads.  I save my bits of embroidery floss because my teacher says she will teach me trapunto one day and I will need the ends of threads for the stuffing - but I think your way of using them is so much prettier.
