I really hope this is the right forum to post this in...

I recently saw this and totally fell in love with it:
any idea or tutorial how to make it? that would be awesome!
anything similar to it would be cool as well as i want to give it away as a present (maybe as a key ring or sth...?)
Thanks in advance!

Looks like a little felted guy, which would be over in the Fiber forum instead of here.  Felting is using wool strands instead of sheets of felt (which is felted wool, pre-made for you to use).

A similar type of doll is posted in this site having link http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=404566.0  . This might help you somehow on how to design this  type of dolls.

You could make it out of yo-yos! (I'm not so sure the name isthat...)

You just need to cut 2 circles, sew and stuff it! =D

But I think that one you showed is made of felt fiber...
