I've had this little lovely brewing in my brain for quite some time...



I fashioned this pendant with the legend of Khepara in mind. Khepara is the scarab beetle in Egyptian mythology that pushes the setting sun across the sky. Ancient Egyptians often placed scarab amulets over the hearts of thier mummified deceased, to be weighed against the feather of truth in the final judgement.

With this legend in mind, I set a beautiful natural Citrine crystal at the scarab's feet. I wear him just above my heart.
