It certainly would stay on well in the wind, and because it comes in so close around the face and down the neck it keeps you very warm. (The knit is very thick.) Seeing the side-view photo (I can't see it that way when I'm wearing it), I think I need to add something to the point. Maybe a small bell? A blinking light?

Wulf

I vote for a bell or a small tassle

The ornaments didn't make it?
Happy new year.

I forgot about them, they were scooped up by Mason and put on the tree - I swear, my memory stinks!

I have had my suspicions Wulf, that you are indeed a gnome....a giant gnome, but still.  And now I have photographic proof. Grin

Which just mostly means that hat is FAB!

To all past swap partners....If something I made you fell apart in some way, it would be helpful to me if you PMed me and told me about it.  Sometimes, I try new things, and if they fail, it helps me to kno

I think a bell would be cool on the hat and it looks sooo  comfy.
Let me get the pics from my phone up, so y'all can see the ornaments, and the detail of the plate.
