I was seriously thinking of how I could translate the scarf to a hat...I think for October-December, a hat is more doable for me...I have learned certainly that my new year ambitions are generally more than I can handle, especially if a wrench gets thrown in the works...

I have also learned that one has to not beat oneself up for not attaining a lofty goal that was set in all honesty...I am hardest on myself...

Also, time is such an escape artist...it just seems to disappear just like that, especially as one gets older...but, I am going to make something sky if it kills me!!! Grin

alteredmommy, way to go! And kudos to you for keeping up with this!

alwaysinmyroom... what about a placemat, or a fabric coiled bowl (like these ). Unless you have your heart set on yarn... although a placemat could still work... you could count out the number of days left and figure out how many stitches per day would give you the size you wanted.

And now, I want a coiled fabric bowl...
