Okay, so while I`m obviously not knitting along (or embroidering or crochetting or what have you) I have been taking pictures of the sky when it's the pretiest.  I figured i would share here.

Belladune - I love these photos, great panoramic sizing too!

PaperBeau, it looks fantastic! And congrats on learning to purl! I just re-learned to knit on Christmas, and I was pretty pleased with my success, so I know how happy you must be. I love to crochet, but learning to knit has expanded the possibilities Smiley

Here are the first 42 days of the year.

This quilt will be 22 rectangles across. And 17 down. There are two blank white days to start. And there will be a couple at the end.  I will be adding a season break colour before the day of season change.  It is interesting to me to contrast and compare this lay out vs the standard calendar I have been charting on. It strips back the typical time scale of week or month. Guess that is sort of the point.  To alter your thinking about your day.

I can't wait to put away the low grey overcast.

Close up to show colours a bit better.

sloth003 - love all the fabric colours your using - how many colours do you have in total?

I hadn't really thought about the lovelyness of it stripping back the regular way we think about time - it's actually a great thought.

I finally got a shot of mine.  I'm starting every month with the bare trees.

My favorite so far is groundhog day!  I have candy heart fabric for tomorrow.  Grin

So far I think it's about 9 colours. All Kona solids. From the sky and storm bundles. I can't wait to reallllllly bust out the blues. Smiley i am so sick of ash and sky and snow.  Smiley

That groundhog fabric is pretty sweet!
