i love this project.  i look at the sky so many times a day. i  hope that the 10 am blue stays, or the noon grey blows thru, today my 4 pm was bright faded blue.  by 415 the snow squalls had blown thru and is overcast light grey/white.

Are you creating something following the sky - if so I would love to see it! If not - it's great to just be more aware of the world outside Smiley

i am. but it wont have much impact for another month or so.i have my first strip done. maybe this aft if my camera cooperates i will ge a pic up. of jan 1-20.

I noticed how fickle the sky is...several days of grey and ugly, then a bright spot in the middle of the week, then back to grey and ugly...I think my own days are like that as well, but not necessarily in sync with the weather...or for that matter, with other people...hmmm...whe n I knit my day, most days I am happier than my sky, but I am much more aware that sometimes I have to do what is and not what I want it to be...

I'll post my progress scarf tonight after I knit today (brutally cold but bright and sunny!)

I love the subtle addition of the ribbon!

I love seeing the progress! I'm waiting until the end of the month and then I'm hoping to post at the end of my months. It's really coming along. I had to put my first "marker yarn" in the other day as my puppy of 14 years passed away. It's a nice reminder that not only was the sky a certain color but something big happened on that day.

So sorry, Whistley!  You should mark that day in a special way...

My Rowdy boy was almost 14 when he died...I am going to think of something to use to mark the anniversary of his death in May because he was my special once-in-a lifetime dog...

I know exactly what you mean by "special once-in-a-lifetime dog." I like this project for remembering things like that. It's a small way to memorialize things that are important. This has been really neat so far. I can only imagine what the rest of the year will bring!

When you really stop and take some time to listen, you do realize what is important and special in life...I find myself less and less irritated by what I call "junk"...it has no meaning in my life...why am I going to let some jerk affect my day when I have very special people in my life who deserve more of my attention...and that includes my pets and my garden...
