I like this very much... I shall have to see if I can acquire yarn in time to cast on on the 1st! And I'm thinking that perhaps it might be nice to do a 52 reasons-style card book, with a scrap of the yarn from each day glued in, seven days to a card. And then something to commemorate the week, if anything of note happened. Hmm....

I'm beginning to reconsider this sadly. I saw the scarf on Pinterest, and loveed the idea, but to be honest, I'm not much of a scarf person, and I doubt I'll ever wear it. My aim for this coming year is to cut right back on the excessive yarn craft - not making anything unless I have an order for it, or a use for it myself (even if that use is a gift - just no more clutter from my stash) and I don't have the fabric or thread stash to do any other way people have suggested (though I'd love a sky knot hoop - a cloud shape instead of a spiral would be nice too.)

Well, I am excited to start tomorrow, so will be cutting fabric squares and setting the daily alarm and getting the colors into the daily calendar to remember what fabric for what mood. I know what I could do to be in a great mood every day. Put on some Cyndi Lauper.

Well, this morning there was a white sky with black coulds, then when I put Daysie down for her nap around 11, there was a blue sky with white clouds.  Interested to see what 3:30 looks like!!!

Happy New Year everyone!  Hope you spent a bit of today reflecting on nature around you...for me, the sky was overcast, grey, and looking like it was going to snow or rain...a nice day to be inside a warm house and be grateful that for it..

Here is the little cheat sheet card I made up to help me stay consistent with my sky scarf:

I also put my yarn into a clear shoe box so I could carry it with me and see it each day:

How strange it was for me to just knit one row...I had to make myself stop! Cheesy
