A quilt of skies and sunsets/sunrises might be more interesting than just blues and greys... Cheesy

I saw that one of the scarves on her site did sunsets...it was gorgeous...pumpkin, pinks, reds, black, just gorgeous!

ok--I tried to join her site but did not get a response yet...but I know the pattern is also available on ravelry so before the new year, I will post the ORIGINAL pattern link and supplies for those who want to do the exact pattern.

edited:  her links all work and the pattern is free...you do have to join and then get an email to download the pattern, which is just one page...it take a bit for the email to get to you...*sigh* It was a reminder for me to slow down and not be in such a hurry!!! Cheesy

I like her idea of using two strands to blend your own sky when it is a little bit blue and a little bit grey!

This is fun! I might join in... at least for 1 month. Knitting, because I've very recently learned how. I could do a row a day, and try different stitches/patterns. Or maybe more than one row a day as some take many rows to get the "pattern". Hm... I'll think on this.

I once thought of doing this with moods for a year in beads. But apparently my moods are too even lol.

I should order me up some yarn...  I've wanted to do this, but never really had much incentive.  Maybe if I get my act together and order the yarn soon, I'll be able to start on Jan. 1 too!

While researching this project, I did find that some people did mood scarves...they picked colors to represent sadness, anger, boredom, etc. There is also one that you ask your friends or complete strangers to pick a color and you knit that color that day...I just liked this one because of the calmness... and the colors...

For me, I am testing my patience, my discipline, my observation, and my ability to carry out a project over a year...
