Whoo-hoo, sloth003! Almost there! What season change color will you pick for winter? Something silvery? All of the colors I would think of (blue, white, gray) have already been used!

Ooooh! I think I know the purpleygrey twilight color of which you speak. That would be a lovely choice...

And, I try to look at the first day of winter the way my brother does... the next day, the days will start to get longer which means spring is on the way!

I finally have an update!  Here's what the sky looks like at my house.  The trees mark the start of each month and I have special fabrics for special days.  Easter, Memorial Day, My anniversary, Star Wars Day (May the 4th)...  Smiley

MissingWillow, I love how you used the "special day" fabrics, but I also really like how the patterned fabrics look for the sky days (I love that you were able to find cloud fabric, too!).

Getting into the most dismal stretch of the year. Sad

Only a few more strips. I can't believe I kept with it all year. Smiley

Enjoy the extra cat shot. :p

I am proud of you, sloth! A dedicated year-long project with a daily task is definitely daunting, and it was a challenge for me to remember to check the sky some days. Next year, I'll make it through the whole year (I was pretty proud of myself for making it through half a year with the recording, even though I never started any actual stitching)! I can't wait to see it when the year is up (and then I can't wait to see how you finish it off!).

Those quilt are looking fabulous!  I had a total fail on this...I underestimated how much time and devotion it takes to care for an elderly parent...plus, the slowness of knitting a scarf a few rows a day was just not my style...so all was not lost...

I probably will not continue this next year if anyone wants to start another year long reflection project type craftalong, go for it!

I am still plugging along and have managed to take a photo of the sky almost every day.  I never have knit daily though, I usually catch up every few weeks.
