I made this hoop for a swap, my partner received today so it is now "safe" to post it as my entry.    It is needle punch and used lots and lots of embroidery floss.



Here is a close up of the face



I don't remember the size of the hoop, but here it is next to a can of soup so you can get an idea of how big it is.

WOW!  That is super cute!  And much bigger than I was imagining it.  You really must have used a lot of floss!  Excellent!

I started it on the 10th of November and just finished last Monday. I worked on it for a few hours almost every day, I love needle punch but it is a slow process!

I got the punch tool and threaders at Jo Anne's. They are the only place I've been able to find the threaders, they eventually break after a lot of use but I think they are between $4 and $6 for a pack of 2. (Not too sure because I always have coupons    )
