Hi all!

Christmas is is getting closer and it's will soon be time to light the first Advent candle. For me it was time to arrange a new candle holder since the old one I had is pretty ugly. This is so much more I and is also a great way to recycle old newspapers. The cost is close to zero because the only thing that costs is a little glue.

Hope you enjoy!

That turned out really nice!  How long does a newspaper basket last you?

It is better to have crafted and failed then never to have crafted at all.
Yes, I am stalking the Toys and Playthings board. Thanks for noticing!
I'm cheating on Craftster with Pinterest. It's ok though. There's overlap.

Thanks so much!
I found pictures on how to roll newsprint on a Swedish site for preschoolers (http://skapverk.blogspot.se/ scroll down). You then attach a odd number of sticks plus one for weaving with between two cardboards. How to weave the basket I found when I searched for basket weaving on youtube. Think it was called something kind muffin basket, I have a different shape but the same principle.

That looks beautiful! I love it's shape. I'm curious to know how long it took you to weave it?

Thank you!
I made the rolls infront of the telly during 4 evnings, maybe 2 hours to cut the cardboard and glue the rolls toghether and one long evening to weave it. So perhaps 16-20 hours in total...
