for my christmas swap the main item I made was this pillow.  I have always loved the island of misfit toys from Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer.

I cross stitched the words in five colours, cut it out and sewed it into a pieced pillow with some fun green and red fabric I had.  I have just learned to sew so the piecing was a bit of a challenge, and the gap at the back yawns open, still from the front I am super happy with how it turned out.  And my swap partner liked it too!

I love the use of multiple colors. It looks like it could have come from the Island of Misfit toys with all of the happy bright colors.

I loved the misfit toys too! I always felt like I kinda belonged with them on the island!  Undecided Great job on the stitching!! I love how you used the red and green for the holiday but yet it has a modern print to it too, very cool!!
