So I've been watching art youtube videos like crazy and came upon silk painting. I love it! Being an artist and loving textiles what better way to combine the two? So I bought a boatload of silk painting supplies from Dharma Trading and attempted it for the first time this evening. I'm not a fan of the chiffon, but used it as a practice round because it was the cheapest silk scarf they had. So without any further ado, here is my first and definitely not last silk painting. I would love feedback and advise!

That looks great! I've only done silk painting twice and my results weren't as great at yours. It definitely seems to improve with practice though so you can only get better and better as you go!

It looks really pretty! I have wanted to try a craft like this again, I have only done it twice both times I was a kid at some kind of camp, so I would like to take a grown up stab at it  Grin.
