Definitely trying this! When I first looked at it I thought it would certainly be more complicated than it is. Impressive results  Grin

Thank you for this tute.
It is SO lovely that I cannot imagine myself trying it.
There are some things  I will not attempt - because of lack of an opportunity to wear it/use it, moreso than a fear of failure.

Just wanted to tell you that your mask is gorgeous, and that your tutorial would be the one I would first turn to IF I get an invite to a Ren-faire - or anything else in which my presence would benefit from me wearing a thread mask.

While I had no intention of voting for my own project, I do not appreciate no link to vote on yours or get in touch with a moderator. So tired of being treated like a second class citizen. sweets4rever

i dunno how the links for voting work. usually, when i look at the entries board, i always see a vote section at the top with these little bubbles that u click on. maybe a glitch with this one?

I'm sorry my tone was so hateful. I just kept checking back and couldn't find it. I need to check the irritability at the door.

LOL - I could use the buff men - I've been working on thread machine-lace. (Sorry for the late reply, my email didnt ping with this reply for some reason) Reminds me of Can-o-Man from the Tick - a spray man who appears for an hour and then vanishes with the smell of potpourri.

Anyway, Rub n Buff is a brand name for gilding paste, comes in small little tubes: http://www.joann.com/rub-n-buff-finish-many-colors/prd36790/
You can order it or get it at the craft store.
