I feel like a bit of an imposter on this board, but I do love stained glass. I have a great round window in my house, that is high up in the eave, it does not open and needs a tall ladder to clean it from the outside. I decided to create 'stained glass'. I had a supply (from years ago) of stick on lead and 'stained glass' film, the kind of stuff that is light-fast. I used it on a different house years ago and it is great and very easy to work with and lasts very well.

I freehanded the design and the cutting of all of the pieces..I wanted the irregular look. I am actually delighted with how it turned out. I was careful to not have a design floating in space because real glass doesn't work that way. I wanted to give it the illusion of real stained glass and it does look pretty convincing. Obviously real stained glass would be nicer..but this works perfectly, the shape works well and the light streaming in is very pretty. It looks magical at night when the lights are on inside of the house.

This is awesome!  I think you did a great job. You should totally be proud of yourself.  I especially like the little heart in the bottom yellow square - very sweet detail.
