Travis Barker Plushie

Hi everyone,

I am currently want to make a Travis Barker plushie.. I am a bit of a Blink fan

But I do not know where to start at all!!

I was hoping for some help, I am quite new to sewing, so I needs lots of practice and do not currently know where to start with trying to draft a pattern.

I have been goggling, but I have not found a pattern to match the picture in my head!!

You may want to look at other patterns in the style you like before you start any drafting.
Or find a nice easy pattern for your first plushie.

I adore this doll pattern because it's proportionate and if you balance the stuffing properly, the doll will stand on it's own.

My next question would be how did I get the "tattooed" effect. I guess it is all trial and error.

I have some fabric sharpies, that may do the job. But what would be the best fabric to make him out of and draw on him with?? He won't be played with just sitting on my desk.

The lady who sits next to me wants an Adam..

You could make it out of muslin and leave off the jersey knit "skin". Fabric Sharpies work really well on muslin too.
The tattoos can be hand drawn or you could buy iron on transfers, like you'd put on a shirt, and draw the tattoos on that then iron them onto him before you sew him.

I meant to say you could draw them directly onto him or on the transfer paper. You could also find pictures of his tattoos online and print them on the transfer paper

A friend of mine once made dolls of the guys from Avenged Sevenfold and used iron on transfers for their tattoos. I've never tried it but she got amazing results.

Oh wow, my friend loves Avenge Sevenfold!!!

If I can get this plushie right, I believe I will have to make her one!!!
