Lady Mary Victoria

     So I wanted to share a new project I've been working on. This is Lady Mary Victoria, a doorstop doll made almost completely of recycled materials.

     Her base is fill with sugar for weight. Cat litter or sand is better, but this was all that I had at hand at the moment. Her flesh was once an old bed sheet, her clothing is made from a recycled nightgown and quilting scraps. Even her stuffing came from a throw pillow that the cat hated and tore to shreds.


She still needs a bit of work around the hands, but I just couldn't wait to share her!

OMGoodness! Im blaming you when I get in trouble by hubby......I got a trash bag full of empty,clean pop bottles that are soon to become a army of dolls! rubbing hands together while cackling sinisterly......

What size eyes did you use? mind running thru clothes willing to be sacrificed...hmmmmm

Thank you! Diet Pepsi is my only addiction in life (besides crafting) and I ask my hubby if he'd rather see them in the recycling bin, or made pretty?

The eyes are actually made from Fimo, then the iris and pupils are painted on.
