Well, it's not really a thing. It's a lightbulb. It's about the size of a bicycle bell and flat on the side that the light shines out and pointed on the other side. WHat can I do? I was totally thinking of a belt buckle, but if you have any other ideas I'd be glad to hear them!

If you can find an old whisk (that you no longer use) bend the metal loops outward and attach the small lightbulb with wire in the center. Add some more to the base of the whisk. It makes an awfully cute flower.

I'm so glad you liked the idea. I've done this a few times before and it always turns out nice.

I have some beading wire lying around here... I think I have it in green and red and maybe blue.

I can propbably wind some red around the "petals" and use the green on the "stalk" and maybe make some leaves...

oooh, the inspiration

You might want to reinforce the stalk. Otherwise the stalk has the tendency of tipping over. I had to learn this one the hard way.

As long as the lightbulb still works, you candecorate it with a hot glue gun and make designs on it then paint over the glue for a nice color and more fun.
