Popping in to say hi and wish happy holidays to all!  I'm trying an entirely new technique with the first one - it's cut and prepped and I'm hoping to do more on it tomorrow.  Lots of ideas for the second flag - they're still percolating. Roll Eyes

We now have a gallery!  The link is on the front page, and I will give the link here too:

Just a reminder:  when you send in the US, you need to get a DC# and pm your partner and both organizers with the number.  This means that you will need to mail your prayer flags in something larger than a regular card-sized envelope; a large manilla envelope is fine, but if it is very flat you will need to make it lumpy--put a styrofoam peanut in it, or a wad of paper, so it qualifies as a package rather than an envelope, and you can get your DC# (you can't get a DC# on a regular flat envelope without upgrading it to priority, and paying around $6!)  The lightweight but lumpy envelope will cost about $2 plus the cost of the DC#.

Crafting date tomorrow! I am having so much fun with this! My mom just showed me a bunch of really cool embroidery patterns she has that I am excited to incorporate into my flags! Whee!

I'm alive! Still haven't started crafting, but have been perfecting my ideas in my head over the holidays. Hopefully everything will come together smoothly!

Still here. At family. Might have a new seeing machine.

Honestly, I think that's what I need: a seeing machine. It would make the sewing much easier!
