The finishing touches took a little longer to dry than I anticipated - but they are all wrapped up and in the mail!

My basement is finally finished - Craft room on one side, Bar on the other side.  Why would I ever want to come back upstairs?

I just received a text from flyraeven. She said that when she was walking into the post office her flags fell out of the plastic bag she had them in and they fell in a puddle. One is ruined and the other needs fixing. She is heartbroken. She won't have internet access until she comes over tonight after work. She'll be in touch here around 6p.

I saw one as a WIP and she had told me her plans for the other. They were going to be awesome  Lips sealed

Watching my packages tracking number is interesting.

My package traveled to Hawaii from New Jersey on its way to Washington

Oh no!  I'm glad she will be with you for support!  Hopefully she will be able to get them both ready for sending without too much trouble; how hard that must have been to see her work ruined.

Very sad news from flyraeven!

One hopes that the package from Hawaii via New Jersey was headed to Washington, DC, not Washington state  Tongue

My flags to sparks and MaryColleen are in the mail!

A very sad day in the crafting world of Flyraeven indeed. I am so bummed, but also confident that the new ones will be even better! And will be ready to send by Monday!

Now to go furiously zone out and get lost in creation!

I received a wonderful "wonder" flag from Smmarrt today. It is so clever and well done - you will all love it, I'm sure. I do!! It is dark here now, so I'll take a daytime photo and post tomorrow. Thanks Smmarrt!

silentblair, I think your flag has arrived as well. Unfortunately, my PO box was full, so they put in a slip and said I had something to pick up. By the time I got there today, the customer service window was closed. So I'll have to either wait until next Saturday, or sneak away from work early one day this week so I can make it there before they close, which is what I will try and do!

I'm mailing mine out Monday. It was almost finished on Thursday but I just couldn't bear to finish it the way I originally planned. It made me cry just thinking of it... and then I browsed the gallery and somebody else's flag inspired me. Didn't have a chance to get back to the fabric store until Saturday (I thought I had the particular fabric in my stash, but I had similar... but I wanted the identical stuff and I KNEW it was at JoAnn's). I'm finishing it up right now.
