Cats are helping me finish mine.

I'm worried because when I sewed the flag its bigger than the dimensions and now i can't fix it :|

I'm sorry, I hope that won't be reflected negatively.

Don't worry about the dimensions, Eiseldora; sometimes things don't come out the way we want them to, that's crafting for you!

Just want to say hi and that I hoped I'd receive today from StickerChic but no. And I finally feel normal - an 8-day flu is no fun.

So tomorrow I'll watch "Downton Abbey" all day and sew, sew, sew. Loving the gallery so far.

PLEASE ask me for some fabric - I have way too much. It's yours, free, for the cost of postage.
Truly, I have soooooo much.

Just saying hi! Got out of bed from a nasty sinus infection and earache. (Wonder really if I should have even been allowed sharp objects) but I tried something new AND IT WORKED  Cheesy

These sicks are just making the rounds aren't they?
The husband is hiding out downstairs feeling REALLY awful.

So tomorrow I'll watch "Downton Abbey" all day and sew, sew, sew. Loving the gallery so far.

SO excited for the series 3 premiere tonight!!!

Eiseldora:
Both my flags came out different sizes. It's okay, I kind of think it's fun to have a "not-totally-uniform" garland of them around.
 Cool Cool Cool

Crafty news:
My flags are addressed and in their envelopes ready to get shipped tomorrow! HUZZAH!

Has anybody painted fabric before? How does acrylic work? I think I need to go to the craft store... I swear I read before of "fabric medium" which you can mix with the acrylics... I assume that makes it more flexible and not hard and breaky when it dries?

Och, apparently the Craftster community is also sharing the lovely flu that is going around (Smmarrt and a couple of others noted it)!  I have been struck with it since New Year's Day.  I felt so awful earlier this week that I was sure I'd be getting better to do work over the weekend, but what actually happened is that I've been so sick I stayed in bed from Friday until noon today (Sunday).  I really want to mail tomorrow if I can make it happen, so am super-scrubbing my hands (maybe getting some gloves!) and getting to work.  I do feel somewhat better, but this ick is not gone yet!!! :p  Sending healing thoughts out for all of us!

I paint on fabric with acrylics a lot. For things that are worn, they tend to crack, but I have done it one art dolls, and it never cracked. I did add a medium for making the paints thinner and more workable/blendable, but the medium feels and looks a lot like mod podge.

Both my flags are done!! I'll be hitting the PO tomorrow.

And my son is currently in the sick club, too. Really hoping I'm not next! You guys aren't making me very hopeful!
