I read this yesterday, and meant to comment. The pattern should be easy to replicate. I don't sew that well but could make this. What I wanted to comment on was how practical this is for your lifestyle and I appreciate that you choose to honor the earth in this way. Rock on girl.

Wow, this is pretty amazing.  It's like, utilitarian but romantic at the same time.  I, too, have been looking for something like this that is long and full, so I'm putting pressure on you too for a tutorial!

I agree with this! It would be perfect for a scientist/inventor costume.

I don't think I could replicate it on my own though. I don't even own a sewing machine yet (coming this weekend!) but I already want to make this.

A tutorial would be MORE than appreciated.
