Personally, I don't like getting licensed items in swaps. Well, I don't mind it so much, but I prefer generic items. There are plenty of generic geek themes, right?

I'm sure there are. As long as you can explain to your partner, and give them examples, right?

Speaking of which, I sent in my questionnaire. I haven't been in a swap for a month and it feels like forever - I think I have a craftster problem!

I didn't actually answer all of those questions. I couldn't think of any favourite movies that I would directly classify as "geek", I mean, I love sci fi and stuff, but for some reason I decided that didn't qualify, so I didn't fill that section in. I also added a whole bunch of generic "geek" themes I like at the end where there's space for extra info. But I'm certain others did it differently.

Yeah not all of my nerdy interests are movies so I just listed some fandoms there instead

I signed up! I have always had the most fun with geeky swaps on here so I couldn't resist.

I did put just favorite movies whether they were specifically geeky or not (most were) and at the bottom also put in some of my other fandom type things (comics, cartoons, video games, etc.). I also put if my partner has any other questions about things I like they can just ask. I have always loved the stuff I have received in past swaps similar to this.

To be honest, I just put a lot of the things I like (mostly deemed geeky anyway) so my partner will have many options. It's up to them what they wanna make and deem "geeky".
