Note from the Deputy Headmistress...

First, I want to wish a very Happy Valentine's Day to all of you in the HPC!  I hope you all get to spend time with someone you love today.   


Second, I'd like to make an announcement about posts, pictures, and House Points. 

Please be aware that Headmistress Pinkleo & I will only be accepting & counting projects that have pictures posted with them.**  This is not in order to be mean, but rather in is in an effort to be fair to all the other members here.  If there are no pictures of the craft with your submitted project post, it will not be counted.  (No Pics = No Points) You are welcome to repost the project, with pictures, for credit & House Points.  If you don't have time to take pictures of your craft the moment you finish it, then simply wait until you are able to photograph it, and then post it here.  You are still welcome to tell us all about it.

Please know we do a *lot* of record-keeping here behind the scenes in order to do fun things like House Points, Challenge Series, OWLs/NEWTs, etc.  With all of these things, in addition to our own lives, families, jobs, and our own crafting, we just do not have time to track down pictures posted in other threads on Craftster, or to go back to old posts to see if pictures have since been added.  Please help us out with this, in order to keep the whole HPC running smoothly.

(**The exception to this rule will be for brand new Craftster members, who are unable to post pictures yet.  Those new members may post a link to pictures hosted elsewhere until they get to their Craftster-required 15 posts in order to use the image hosting here.)

The idiom was different, since we needed to produce a sentence It was 2 pts, I believe.

I'm so honored to be inducted into the Order of the Phoenix.  What a beautiful badge and I'm proud that I can be the first to display it. I put it in my HPC pinterest board. Since I have finished all the horcruxes, I'm going to work on classes. Here are the projects I did today.

Brief Description: (how it fits the requirements, pattern/techniques/recipe used, any fun tips, etc.) I love to make ATC and I love working with clay so I found this page that combines them together. I have never used stamps on clay before and I wasn’t really sure how it worked so I gave it a try. It looks pretty cool. 

The Flourish & Blott's Challenge is an exception.  No pictures are needed because you are producing words only.  The reason you are not seeing points for it beside your name in the Completed Classes & Challenges post yet is because the points for these will be totaled and added on at the end of the semester.

Brief Description: So I've had a bunch of chocolate molds sitting around forever.  I seriously do not even remember when I got them, but the egg one I got from a discount store that was closed before DH's parents moved and they moved two Christmases ago.  The others I either got at a yard sale, or for a mother's day present again years ago.  Have always meant to use them when a Valentine's or I have other Easter molds too, so around then sometime, but it's always passed me by.  Decided this would be the year I finally stepped up and did them, and I'm so glad I did!  So fun!  And really easy for the dramatic ending.  I used dark chocolate and oh so yummy, and filled them with peanut butter cup like filling. MIL gave me a chocolate melter set so used that with just plain ol' chocolate chips. And the heart boxes I actually kept around from last valentines when a teacher of mine had them for class goodies, asked her if I could have the empty boxes.  I'm ashamed to say there was one chocolate left in the box I found out today LOL. Gold foils were from a snitch project last Valentines. So onward!

peanut butter cup filling, I really didn't use a recipe I just added a bit of butter and then peanut butter and powdered sugar until it was a pb cup like texture and tasted good.
