@pinkleo: I love the baby blanket! It's too cute!
THANKS! Grin

I love the afghan, Pinkleo! It turned out so great. What pattern did you use?
Why thank you! Grin  I used a free pattern on lionbrand.com, Kew Gardens Afghan.  The only modifications I did was add 2 rounds of single crochet (not doing increases in my final round).

OWL Proposal
OWL Subject: Charms
House: Gryffindor
Project Name: Secret OAHPT!
Brief Description: As stated previously, OAHPTs shall all be approved as OWLs/NEWTs.  Because this is a swap item, secrecy must be maintained.  Proposals can be listed as just OAHPT.  I promise this project is very OWL worthy....in fact, I would say NEWT worthy, but I have one of those already going....plus, I'm itching to complete every OWL subject!  Alrighty, wish me luck!  Dear fellow OWL Examiner, be on the look out for future PMs asking for OWL Advice. Cool

Hunter - Harry Potter
House: Ravenclaw
Project Name: Baby Blanket
Project Link
Project Description:
When the horcrux was created on Harry, he was just a baby. When he was left on the doorstep of the Dursley's the only thing he had was the blanket Hagrid swaddled him in before leaving Godric's Hollow.

I made a baby blanket for a premie baby. It looks like the baby blanket I had when I was younger. I hope it can wrap the baby in love much like Lily's love for Harry.

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Horcrux Hunt - Gaunt Ring
House: Ravenclaw
Project Name: clown barf socks
Brief Description: As JKR revealed, Dumbledore prefers the company of other wizards. In the muggle world, the rainbow is the symbol of LGBT pride. These socks have a rainbow of colors in them, and I can definitely see Dumbledore wearing them (although I think he would want knee-highs)! Not to mention that he loves socks in general, or so he told Harry in his first year.

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Defense Against the Dark Arts
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: Kappa defense
Project Page Link (if available):
Brief Description: (how it fits the requirements, pattern/techniques/recipe used, any fun tips, etc.) I made a cucumber out of polymer clay and put my name on it. If I ever come across a kappa, I’ll hand this to them. It’s on a pin too.
Project Picture:

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Muggle Studies
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: Keyblade
Project Page Link (if available):
Brief Description: (how it fits the requirements, pattern/techniques/recipe used, any fun tips, etc.) My favorite muggle video game is Kingdom Hearts so I made a Keyblade keychain. This is also made of polymer clay.
Project Picture:

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Bertie Botts Beans: Earwax
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: 3D glasses earrings
Project Page Link (if available):
Brief Description: (how it fits the requirements, pattern/techniques/recipe used, any fun tips, etc.) Another polymer clay project. Was thinking Luna when I made these but wanted them to be something muggles would recognize. BTW I swear I did not steal your idea, Pottermouth. lol
Project Picture:

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Horcrux Hunt: Tom Riddle’s Diary
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: Mini book
Project Page Link (if available):
Brief Description: (how it fits the requirements, pattern/techniques/recipe used, any fun tips, etc.) I found the diary! Ok I made it. I made a mini version of Riddle’s diary. The covers are made of thick cardstock which I covered in tissue paper and painted them black. I used computer paper for the paper inside so it can be a little notebook or for an evil wizard to jot down his wicked deeds.

Oooo...I like February's detention! I can definitely participate in that! And the Gryffindor extra credit as well! I've been MIA for a good couple days. All of the engagment excitement, then my birthday, followed by a bit of a funk (my job has been less than pleasant recently, made for a blah mood where I wanted to do nothing except cuddle in bed all day. I'll be job searching this week I think). I didn't get too much crafting done. I did work on my Mini Art Quilt for a swap today. My OWL is kind of put on hold until I finish it. Buuut, you all have been very busy so allow me to ooo and ahhh:

@FreakieGeekie: Beautiful rose clip and earrings! Good idea to use marbles!

@jenleahlynn: Congrats on Gryffindor of the Month!

@Pinkleo: Congrats on Gryffindor of the Month as well!! And your baby blanket is coming a long quite nicely! It looks so snuggly! Congrats on finishing your OWL! Maybe keep it around to give as a Christmas present this year?

@jennieingram: It's looking so good!

@sakuracat23: Love the hexagons! And I can't get over the mouth on that zombie! It's so good!

@Abbeeroad: I am in love with that quilt. It just keeps getting better and better.

@ErinAquaheart: What a good drawing! Also, i can't wait to see your finished mural. Cute crayons! I remember melting them down when I was younger, so much fun. Beautiful necklaces...they all look really good together.

@Naantje: I love the idea of freezing the soup into shapes! So cute!

@patty_o_furniture: You've outdone yourself! So freaking awesome I'm at a loss for words. I bet it will be hard to give away. So much hard work has gone into that. (Isn't it for a gift?)

@noodle-bug: I love the colors you used! Smiley

@pottermouth: Adorable converse!

@Eiseldora: Neat scarf idea! I also love the baby snuggle you made! So tiny!

@indigo_roses: AWESOME socks! I LOVE the yarn you picked out.

@sammylouise40:
Awesome job with all the clay!! (Clay is one thing I just cannot do!)
