Project Name: Jareth's crystals and Hoggle's jewels earrings
Brief Description: I joined a Labyrinth themed swap and made these for my partner. I enchanted them so that the crystals will illuminate the wearer when it gets dark out, therefore preventing a flying accident.


The crystals are actually clear glass marbles.
I hope she doesn't see these because she hasn't received yet but I just couldn't resist sharing.

Just because i have my project finished, but I want to wait to get a pic of it modelled by the boyf - but I just want to be sure I won't run out of time before I have a chance

I also have a bunch of othe rstuff made but it's all for swaps so I have to wait for my partner to recieve before I post. I HATE waiting! I'm so impatient!

Amazing Goop, I believe is the name. It smells awful but it works really well.

I tell people the same thing when they tell me I'm patient because I can crochet a little.

Alrighty, I have a pretty dumb question regarding quilting. The pattern I am following listed material lengths (to purchase) as 1 7/8 yrds, 3/4 yrd, 1 yrd, etc. and to cut them in strips such as 2 1/4 x 42", 1 1/2 x 15 1/2, blah, blah, blah. The question is: The length of the fabric strips will be cut from selvedge to selvedge, right? Because it would be impossible to cut lengths 42" long parallel to the selvedge...oh, I think I am really over-thinking something so simple! Having some creativity issues lately. My Doctor Who swap hoop is at a standstill because the original plans didn't pan out- AND IT IS NEARLY FINISHED!! It just looks very nondescript at the moment. Too bad there wasn't a way to get suggestions on how to finish it without blowing the surprise!
