I have been so wrapped up in my OWL that all I've been able to do is lurk the thread!!!! So many amazing projects  Shocked going on in here!!!

I feel like I am going crazy with this koi pond floor!!!! Tongue
Tina and I finally agreed on a chalk lay out and she is super excited. In the end I have 33 lily pads, 34 koi fish, and 9 lotus blossoms. Not including water ripple details. I finished painting all the lily pads Thursday and have painted 12 of the fish. That's pretty good for two weeks worth of work. Right? Huh
So here are some pictures....
A little corner. (sorry so blurry)

My favorite fish so far.

Lily pad cluster.

And a hidden om. (like a hidden mickey at Disney...but more serene. Cheesy)

Whoo, up early this morning. Tea is steeping, somehow our Christmas tree has started to grow (?!) and it's snowing like mad. I feel like I've travelled back in time about 3 weeks. Anyone lose a time turner up in the Great White North?

@ErinAquaheart~ Oh my goodness! That floor is beautiful so far! I can certainly see why you've been wrapped up in it! I don't have an amazing excuse like that. I just haven't been keeping up! But this - THIS is lovely! I can't wait to see what it looks like when you're done.

@Krashromance~ I love the colour in that beanie. Fire and ice go so well together, strangely. Especially in a winter hat. I bet it will keep his head warm for the rest of the year, especially in those quidditch matches!

@Jennieingram~
Those stitch markers! Those charms! I absolutely love them! The full set looks really, really good together - what a great idea!

@krashromance - I love your beanie! Such a great color scheme.

@ErinAquaheart - That floor is amazing! I can't imagine how awesome the finished product is going to be!

It's Manos del Uruguay's Silk Blend. It's 30/70 silk/merino, and is amazing to work with. It's one of my favorite yarns!

I made Snape a shirt but I've put him aside for now to work on my Detention. I have to finish an Eeyore hoopla by Thursday for my coworker's birthday. She's an awesome lady and loves Eeyore so he has to be finished by then!

Accio stitch markers!!!

Crap! It's not working! I think I need to go to Ollivanders and get me a real wand that works....

So, I know it's Saturday, but I wasn't online yesterday and I do have some OWL updating to do. I am almost done! I've probably about 15 recipes to make 3 copies of, insert all into the books and write each a different letter in the beginning since they are for three different people. I can see the light at the end of a very cramped-finger tunnel!

My OWL update is less positive: we moved on Friday and still have plenty of unpacking to do (though the kitchen and the bathroom are completely box free and functional!) and with all the hauling of boxes, I seem to have overextended my left shoulder. Knitting is out of the question, even unpacking boxes is pushing me to my limit, but we can't keep living amid the cardboard, now can we?
