Project Name: Granny Stripe Blanket
Brief Description: (how it fits the requirements, pattern/techniques used, materials using, plan of action, expected timeline, etc.) I have 18 skeins of yarn that I am going to be transforming into a nice adult sized blanket...for ME! I will be starting with a foundation chain of 214 and working 68 rows in granny stripe pattern using 17 colors, then using my 18th color to edge the blanket. I'll finish by February 13th. Here's my supplies minus the white skein for edging:



Does this count as a large amount of supplies?

House: GRYFFINDOR!
Description: I've been wanting to do these for a long time, in fact I bought that yarn last year!
I had some nice washcloth being made for me (thanks Méélissa!), but still I had not enough and decided yesterday was the perfect day to finally make them.


..and I've frogged and knitted back the little hat, this time with size 9 needles.


I'm more happy that way! The stifness disappeared and it will actually fit a newborn now!

Looking over this thread every evening keeps me sane! We're moving on friday so I'm currently living in a house that is packed with boxes, keeping only some last essentials separate and eating the leftovers from the freezer. Unfortunately, some of that had been frozen for too long and isn't edible anymore because of freezerburn, so it's been many a peanut butter sandwich when dinner turned out to be yuck ... I really need to log on every evening for some distraction of this mess!

Project Name: KitchenAid Cover (with pin-up girls,  )
Brief Description: Black, white, yellow, and red. Couldn't figure out how these particular colours meant something to me until drinking coffee this morning. Oh geez, those are the colours of my kitchen! Duh. Reduced the fabric stash a bit and made a cover for the mixer that incorporates those colours and matches the kitchen to boot!


Two projects in a row. Watch out!
