Congrats to FoxySam and pinkleo for their WotW awards!

AugustBell- Your frog prince has the best expression! Lovely gift.

Supermutts- I may have said it already, but the quilt is AWESOME!

jennieingram- You mean there are others that openly like Coupling?! I live in the wrong part of the country. You do make some beautiful bracelets!

noodle-bug- Your second picture is fantastic. Great multipurpose knitwear!

PenguinSoup- oh, yum...

sakuracat- so so cute!

I know I missed mentioning some great projects- Snape's hair, those knitted owls, the wee knitted baby hat, etc. Oh! And congrats to all of the "Best Of" ladies!!!!

OWL PROPOSAL
OWL Subject & Option(if available): Transfiguration: Option 1-Practice your vanishing and conjuring spells by taking a large amount of supply and crafting one piece.
House: Ravenclaw
Project Name: Granny Stripe Blanket
Brief Description: (how it fits the requirements, pattern/techniques used, materials using, plan of action, expected timeline, etc.) I have 18 skeins of yarn that I am going to be transforming into a nice adult sized blanket...for ME! I will be starting with a foundation chain of 214 and working 68 rows in granny stripe pattern using 17 colors, then using my 18th color to edge the blanket. I'll finish by February 13th. Here's my supplies minus the white skein for edging:

Does this count as a large amount of supplies?  Tongue

I think so, yes! Cheesy

So many great quilt being made Smiley

Classe, etc: Appartion /January Detention
House: GRYFFINDOR!
Description: I've been wanting to do these for a long time, in fact I bought that yarn last year!
I had some nice washcloth being made for me (thanks Mlissa!), but still I had not enough and decided yesterday was the perfect day to finally make them.

..and I've frogged and knitted back the little hat, this time with size 9 needles.

I'm more happy that way! The stifness disappeared and it will actually fit a newborn now! Cheesy

The granny blanket is going to be great! Love the color choices.

Maman, I really like the baby hat knit up with handspun! It's great to see things created with handspun yarn.

Looking over this thread every evening keeps me sane! We're moving on friday so I'm currently living in a house that is packed with boxes, keeping only some last essentials separate and eating the leftovers from the freezer. Unfortunately, some of that had been frozen for too long and isn't edible anymore because of freezerburn, so it's been many a peanut butter sandwich when dinner turned out to be yuck ... I really need to log on every evening for some distraction of this mess!

I love the picture book of our Slytherin Alton Smiley

Class: Alchemy
House: Ravenclaw
Project Name: KitchenAid Cover (with pin-up girls,  Wink)
Brief Description: Black, white, yellow, and red. Couldn't figure out how these particular colours meant something to me until drinking coffee this morning. Oh geez, those are the colours of my kitchen! Duh. Reduced the fabric stash a bit and made a cover for the mixer that incorporates those colours and matches the kitchen to boot!

Two projects in a row. Watch out!

Love the little hat, Maman!

Awesome mixer cover, pottermouth! Someday I'll have a kitchenaid to make a cover for!

I'm working steadily on my NEWT. Larger projects are fun, but I'm definitely missing the instant gratification of class/challenge posts!
