Class/Challenge/House Pride: Potions
House: Ravenclaw
Project Name: Little Luna Ornament
Brief Description:  I made this ornament for TroubleT in the Harry Potter Holiday swap.  I glued a ball to an egg shaped body piece and painted her in her school uniform (radish earrings included) then added yarn for hair and a hanging hook.  She comes in at just under 4 inches tall.

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Alchemy and Ravenclaw Quidditch
House: Ravenclaw
Project Name: A Trio of "book" bags
Project Page Link (if available): http://www.hgtv.com/handmade/how-to-make-a-hardcover-book-purse/index.html but I changed the handles
Brief Description: I made these as gifts for my three sisters in law. All three love to read, so I've created these out of a series called the Sister's Grimm. I also carefully took the pages out and kept them in tact and I am also giving them to my sils so they can read the story if they wish. And I'm totally making some for me and my kiddos post Christmas! These are red, yellow, black and white Wink

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Charms
House: Ravenclaw
Project Name: Foxy Zipper Bag
Brief Description:  I needed a new cosmetics bag and I didn't want to buy one when I knew I could easily make one.  The only problem is I am scared of zippers.  Well not the zippers themselves; but having to put one into something.  I had this pattern by Oh Fransson! and decided to give it a go.  It wasn't easy, I did have to rip out one side twice, but in the end I did it and maybe now I can stop avoiding patterns that include zippers.

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Divination
House: Ravenclaw
Project Name: (mini)Mr. Fox Stole (my heart)
Brief Description: After seeing this made during the Summer Semester I knew I needed to make this scarf.  I bought yarn and then it sat... for several months... until last weekend.  I did some research and if you see a fox while you are divining tea leaves it can mean "a new business opportunity", "cunning and intelligence" or on the negative side "betrayal by a friend".  Let's hope fortune is kind to me.

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Detention with Dolores (December)
House: Ravenclaw
Project Name: District 12 Stenciled Hoodie
Brief Description:  My niece is a Hunger Games fanatic (team Peeta) so for part of her Christmas gifts this year I decided I would stencil her a District 12 hoodie.  I googles District 12 Stencil and found one based off of the official movie seal for 12.  I had to do two coats of white first before adding the copper and "fire opal" glitter paints.  On the front is a Mockingjay.  I hope she likes it!

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Gemino
House: Ravenclaw
Project Name: Four Tiny Sweaters
Brief Description:  I knit up four little Weasly sweaters for Pinkleo in the Harry Potter Holiday Swap.  The base pattern of the sweater is the same, the only difference are the letters on the front.

Lovely stenciling, FiberAlchemist!  What kind of paint did you use for the hunger games sweatshirt and how did you apply it?  I always have troubles with the metallics, because the one I was using didn't take well to a sponge.

You are on a roll, FiberAlchemist! So many great projects  Cheesy Better keep a good eye on those projects, or they might disappear into somebody's pockets. Love every single one of them.

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Ancient Runes
House: Slytherin
Project Name: Doctor Who Mug
Project Page Link (if available):
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=417852.msg4944811#msg4944811
Brief Description:
Runestones are used to comemmorate great people, great acts or monumental events. If in the history of the world, there is one great person who has done many great acts and was at every single monumental event, it must be the Doctor, so for my Ancient Runes assignment, I decided to make something to commemorate his ninth, tenth and eleventh incarnations. I know it is usual to only erect runestones for the deceased, but since the Doctor is sort of immortal nd constantly travelling to time, making it near impossible to tell if at any certain point in time he is alive or dead, I felt I might as well pay tribute.

I used porcelain paint to decorate a mug with the TARDIS, the buzzwords of nine, ten and eleven, and some hidden "Bad Wolf" grafitti (on it's own comemmorating a monumental event, where Rose took those words and scattered them through time and space to lead herself to the place where she must be). It's a Christmas present for a friend, and my boyfriend has commisioned one for himself too!
