@pinkleo: Dear! So many blocks! You've been quite busy. I couldn't possibly pick a favorite. Awesome job! (Now I have to go back and re-read what your advanced study was 'cause I don't remember. Haha.)
THANKS! Grin  For my Arithmancy OWL, I'm studying the wonders of the number 7 by focusing on 7 square patterns.  I will spend 3-4 weeks of study, crafting as many squares as I can, with a minimum of 1 a day, for the Pine Ridge Reservation.  All are welcome to join in this OWL quest.  Details can be found HERE.

...and Your dip sound yummy...I'm a sucker for anything that has hot sauce. Cool

@jennie: Fab Gift & Home-Staple!  :::taking moment to reminisce about bread:::

I know!  ::hangs head in shame::  I debated not posting it since it is chock-full of gluten, but I figured you'd want me to share.  Has anything from that Gluten-Free Bread book worked out?

Cheesy This is a wondrous bread, so you must share.

I have yet to play with the cookbook...but shall be diving in soon (lucky for me I received several kinds of GF flours for Xmas, so I can't wait to play; the flours can be pricey so it's nice to know if I flop I didn't spend a pretty penny for it....will share all successes!)....Now, let's take a moment to remember beer....sigh, Shiner Bock...oh how I miss you bread and beer....okay I'm over it now Grin

Happy New Year everyone!!  Grin (oh gosh these smilies are so cute) I see everyone is ringing in the New Year with more fabulous crafts, not that I would expect anything else Smiley

To start off the new year, it's time for the Second Ravenclaw Quidditch Training Session!
preg_replace('/(.{49})/', '$1 ', '_____________________________________________________________________________________________________')

Training Session 2: On the DEFENSIVE!
Ended Sunday, January 20th

Now let's hone our defensive skills! In order to keep our keeper and beaters on their toes:
- craft something circular or inspired by the keeper's hoops, to help our keeper block all shots!
  OR
- craft something that requires a steady hand or comes in pairs, to make sure our Beaters can't be beat!

Challenge: Geminio
House: Gryffindor
Project Name: Tiny Travelling Teddies for twin girls (thought it was a perfect project for the geminio challenge since they are going to twin girls too...
Project Page Link (if available): http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=418561.0
Brief Description: (how it fits the requirements, pattern/techniques/recipe used, any fun tips, etc.)
Got the idea off pinterest with the mice in the altoid tins...so someone very kindly sent me some altoid tins for me to use and then vwalla after a bit of sewing I made one teddy and then a quick spell and there were two, I am glad they came out slightly different in the colours but otherwise exactly the same.  The spell made things much easier instead of having to make two  Grin

Project Picture:

Wow, so many great projects coming through, love the variety of projects they are all great and individual...awesome!

So many amazing projects! Cheesy
I should be put in Detention for not working on my DADA OWL. I'm too easily distracted. Also, I can't seem to get my bedroom warm and since it's also my sewing room, I DO NOT want to be in there. Curse winter! **shakes fist**

*Time Turner!!*too...many...projects....It's going to take me a minute to catch up!

ErinAquaheart - love your house crest ornaments. I always preferred the blue/gray for Ravenclaw even though it's not OG. And the bird hoopla is gorgeous. Did you dye the background fabric?

TechnicolorAquahearts- awesome 1st hoop! I hope you we get to see more as your addiction develops Wink

MommaAquaheart - yay for a white Christmas and lovely holiday crafts!

FreakieGeekie - ingenious headphones to earmuffs transformation. The biohazard symbol is very fitting for some mandrake work!

Foxy Sam - whoohoo Welcome fellow Gryffindor! And such great projects! The TV is my fave, but the little dragon is awesome and so are the tin teddies!!

SiakelA - despite your troubles, I love your mini hoop!

WhistleFish - I hope you stick with your OWL. I love it so far!

AugustBell - super cute and colorful socks! I want a pair!!!

Congrats to jillybeans on WotW  Grin

patty_o_furniture -  Shocked that braid is AMAZING! I can't even regular french braid. I'm in awe.

jennie - your bread looks so goood! And love the vegan option. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

pinkleo - your charity work is really amazing. I think I need to join SPEW to force myself to do more!!

Whew!  Excellent use of a time turner if I do say so myself. NOW - I need to play catch up with classes/announcements!
