My Idiom: A watched cauldron never boils.

What great projects! I've missed a lot while I've been away. I haven't had a lot of crafty time because I got a puppy!

He's a three month old mini austrailian shepherd/ pomeranian cross. He's a huge handful and it took some time to adjust living with him.

His name is Miles. He looks a bit like a fox and we though of naming him Tails from Sonic the Hedgehog. Tails' real name is Miles Prower so we decided to call him Miles.

I'm hoping to finish a pair of socks for my mom very soon and get some more work done on my sweater.

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Bertie Botts Beans: Chocolate
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: Chocolate Peppermint Cupcakes
Project Page Link (if available): http://www.glorioustreats.com/2010/12/chocolate-peppermint-cupcakes.html
Brief Description: (how it fits the requirements, pattern/techniques/recipe used, any fun tips, etc.) I found these yummy cupcakes on Pinterest. I wanted something that peppermint in it too and I found these. They are so good! They may look a little sloppier then the photos on the site but I'm not big on gussying food up. As long as it taste good that's fine with me. Smiley

@penguinsoup The new puppy is so cute! He's got the cutest little face.  Kiss I have a puppy that's older but probably a lot smaller. She's a teacup chihuahua. Her names Kiely. She's a little over a year now.

Ugh, how silly are we to forget to take pictures of our yummy chocolate mousse. My fiancé's family came over yesterday for a murder mystery dinner (my character was the killer!) and I made chocolate mousse for desert. It's so yummy!

the puppy pictures are so cute! I just got a mini australian shepard, and am noticing in the picture that miles appears to have one brown eye and one blue like my Fae!

Oh my goodness I've been MIA for so long, but I have been popping in to admire all of the beautiful crafts from afar!

Congratulations patty_o on WotW! So well deserved, I am coveting that dollhouse so hard.

A quick update on my OWL: I posted the first third a while ago, and I have completed the second third (it is currently being shipped in a swap package, and can soon be revealed), but I need to figure out what to do with the last bit now, since I am no longer making what I planned on. But I am very happy with how the second part turned out so yay Smiley So I will have things to post as soon as the package is received!

Ravenclaw Quidditch Reminder: you have until the end of today to complete the Teamwork Training Session!
Anddddd

three cheers for Eiseldora, who did complete her training session!

And CONGRATS WotW!  Very much deserved!

I'm still resting and recovering, but feeling much better.  I'm just cuddling up with my NEWT and waiting for a new Walking Dead.  Sending blessing to all! Grin

I decided to do a little sculpting today after making the cupcakes and doing some homework so here's what I made.

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Horcrux Hunt: Diadem
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: The Grey Lady
Project Page Link (if available):
Brief Description: (how it fits the requirements, pattern/techniques/recipe used, any fun tips, etc.) I sculpted the Grey Lady out of polymer clay. She’s the ghost of Ravenclaw and also happens to be Rowena Ravenclaw’s daughter.

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Horcrux Hunt: Harry Potter
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: Harry Potter
Project Page Link (if available):
Brief Description: (how it fits the requirements, pattern/techniques/recipe used, any fun tips, etc.) Here he is! This is my chibi version of Harry Potter. I’m sorry that he had to be killed to get the horcrux out of him but luckily he’s alright. Now I just need to get rid of that darn snake.
