Now that wintery weather is here, it made me feel cold to look at my Blythe dolls wearing summer clothes, so I made some winter things for them.  I found all the patterns online, but none of them printed out the right size (maybe I'm doing something wrong?) so I had to mess around with them and make some practice garments before I got the size right.

The kitty pajamas are made of fleece and the hood is lined with cotton fabric (and is being modeled by Bonnie).  I love how warm and cozy it looks!  The hood is really big, but that's good because it holds her long hair.  The pattern is from a Japanese site, and was originally for a bear. The link is HERE; you have to click on the word "Blythe" under the word "No' at the top of the page.

I am extremely proud of the hat I knitted for Claire!  I haven't knitted in many a year, but I found a simple pattern and it all came back to me.  Her blue coat is made of fleece, and the snowflakes are buttons from Joanns.

Under the coat, Claire is wearing an easy-to-make, long-sleeved tee-shirt with on which I embroidered a snowflake. The skirt is so simple--it's just a curve of felt with snaps on the back!  I added embroidery and beads to look like snow and tie in with the winter theme.

I'm really enjoying playing with my dolls!  Maybe we will see another Blythe clothing swap here soon

A lovely set of winter clothing!

I'm just starting out in the doll making world (with ghilie's Cupcake doll pattern).  I've been modifying Blythe clothing to fit Cupcake, would you mind sharing where you got the patterns for your clothing?  I adore that animal snowsuit so much!

Lhiannan, here's where I found the footie pajamas/kitty/bear pattern:

http://karayage.main.jp/blythe/index.html

Corrected link:  http://karayage.main.jp/

Everything is in Japanese, but the pattern has a lot of pictures so it wasn't hard to figure out.  I had to resize it though; it printed out too small.  I could mail you a copy of the pattern I made; I am pm'ing you now.

I know this is an old thread, but I am new here and just coming across it now.

These outfits are great. Is there anything you can't do? Sewing, embroidery, knitting... you're my hero!
