I have had quite a few plush toys I made since the last time I posted, PLUS- now I have a hang tag tutorial! Learn to make your own hang tags and the tools you need to do so. I always wanted to put one together- and seeing I was a design/ print student (got my degree in design)- I always made my own tags, cards- everything. Well now I can share some of the tools I use and hopefully can help those out who want to start branding their own name and identity. It adds that finishing touch; and if you are looking to sell (craft fairs, online, etc) a warning label is a great addition. I have the tutorial and even a template you can download on my Tylonproducts site; which is linked in my profile. I have a step-by-step tutorial as well to make your own hang tags using the template provided to you on the site.
Now for the plush critters I made to start off with this incredibly long post. I made some cute tadpoles (baby frogs) in pink and blue. I actually created a pattern and made my Axolotl, Vicious, in all minky- and also made up 4 other axolotl plushies for the non-profit I sew for; Lotllove.
My new axolotl pattern! My first try making my axolotl, Vicious-
A bunch of other axolotls with the pattern for Lotllove
Some works in progress (were). My little cousin claimed the blue axolotl "floppy" beanie axolotl.
I had a little bit of blue minky left and made a GIANT sea slug; who is filled with beans and snuggles.
AND! to tie it all up! The hang tag tutorial! I have the template for the tags on my website in 3 different sizes you can download and customize with your own logo and info.
Enjoy! Feel free to ask if you have any questions; or if you find a spelling-error please tell me! Sometimes spell check skips certain things.
