I made some peacock greeting cards for jexxican for the Stocking Swap.  Of course, I didn't have enough of either color I wanted to use to make them all the same, so I had to make half and half, turquoise and purple.  I used a rubber stamp, marked up with stamp markers, and cardstock (duh) and made these:

I'm pretty pleased with how they turned out!

I didn't know they made such a thing as "stamp markers." I was wondering how you got the coloring effect. They are pretty awesome. Now I'm feeling guilty because I haven't written my penpal in a while and now I have no reason not to because i have these!

Thanks so much, HSG!

jexxican, the markers are for use on the old school rubber stamps only.  I've tried them on the clear ones and they don't adhere to the rubber, alas.

Hm, I don't have any clear stamps, but most of my stamps are hand carved. They should work on those, right? I wonder if they have them at my local HobLob. Thanks for the info!

Thank you both so much!  I love the colors, too - I was tempted to keep them for myself. Cheesy
