Well, for the Stocking Swap, I saw that the lovely jexxican had a few awesome images pinned, as well as a cool tute for shrinky dink buttons.  I could hardly wait to start.

and

were the final products.  I used paper punches and a hole puncher to get them uniform.  They were SO much fun to make!

I like these!
Here's an idea for you: I make button earrings using the teeny-tiny buttons, jump rings, and earring hooks. These would make a super cute gift for any crafters on your Christmas list! Trust me, they take no time at all to make.

my cousin, suggested letting the kids use shrink film to make tags to add to the pencil case for  their teachers chrismas gift, buttons would be cuter. i just bought the film! joanns had clear, do you use white, or did you find the rough kind for color pencil?

Oh my word.  I know exactly what I'm doing for a ton of gifts now.  Thank you so much for the idea!

I used the white, but I think the clear would work, too, especially if they did colored pencils and colored the whole thing.

You're welcome! I used some rainbow colored buttons to make earrings for my cousin's twelve year old and she adored them.
