Well, I'm still learning how to work my machine embroiderer and this is my most favorite project yet.

It uses cut work (little blades on the needle that cut the fabric) and it was so fun to do.  Or really, so fun to watch the machine do.  Cheesy

I'm thinking I'll make two next time and have the ribbon link the two together - you know, like mittens used to have that long piece of yarn to hold the two together through the sleeves so you wouldn't lose one?

the String is called the Idiot String in our parts - but really, it should be the Kid String. My five year old can lose mitts with it still, but I'm sticking with it.

This is really neat - it's an ornament? I'm not too sure of the size

Ha - idiot string. I love it.

Yes, it's an ornament - it's about 4.5 - 5 inches long.
