New ATC's

[Oath Keeper]

Well I got into ATC's at the end of last year, and joined a few rounds of the ATC swap on here. But the other cards were so great that I felt kinda lame giving people my cards So I took a break from the swap to practice and I think I'm happy with how my skills have grown
First I love How to train your dragon, so I decided to do an ATC of Hiccup and Toothless. I kept looking at the card as I was working on it saying, "Why cant that be me?" And then right before I started inking the human features I had a moment of 'that can be me!' So this became a self portrait of me with Toothless

Random mermaid card. I wanted to try doing a silhouette image. Not great, but good practice.

This was a fossil based ATC that I had to fight tooth and nail with just to get cut out in the right size

This one was based on a line form a book I've been working on. The characters name is Lily and it only works if you know her character... so this is just kind of random I'm sure XP

I have been on a Naga kick for the longest time now. And I really wanted a Naga ATC, so I made my own The red and brown one was my first try and just looks off to me So I made the blue and purple one. Still off, but cuter


Last are a few cards from a personal swap between the wonderful Spikefan and myself. I love the two of the eyes of Buffy and Spike

i love the variety of themes and technique. i think atc's are a great way to streatch your creative muscles. i think we are always much harder on ourselves than anyone else would be.

 Loved your Naga's! I have a thing for them too and mermaids. I just love how they can be so flow-y. LOL! Amazing job! You shouldn't think your skills are lacking for the swap. I think these are fantastic!
