Hello,

here in germany we have an "Adventskalender" for children (and ever youngtime people). I dont know if this in USA or in other country the same?

The "Adventskalender" is a picture, boxes, bags etc.. in this packages are sweet things or little gifts. From the first of december until 24th december every day the child can open one part of this calender. My wife are sewing an "Adventskalender" for our three year old daughter.

Here some pictures....

Greetings from germany.

Here in the USA we refer to it as an advent calendar. usually it's small, a piece of chocolate, or sometimes just a picture behind a window. i love the size of this, nice big pockets.

This is the best Advent Calender I've seen.  So colourful, and it looks like your daughter is really enjoying.  I like that the numbers are mixed up, I assume this is so she has to look for the right order.  And by the way your English is just fine!

How cute!  I love advent calendars because it helps us all get excited for Christmas Day!

You did a very child friendly one---I love the flaps on top that prevent peeking! Cheesy

@ alwaysinmyroom
O.K., here some pictures from the beer-advent-calender

Pic 1 and 2 are calender, you can buy: one with cans, one with bottles
Pic 3 and 4 are homemade, because the funny thing is, that the beer here in Germany were sold in 24 bottles boxes.

Greetings

The advent calendar you made is so pretty! Also, thanks for telling us about all the other kinds of advent calendars, The beer one seems like it would be really fun, and I would love to try a perfume one!
