Yay for DNA! Deoxyribonucleic acid not only plays an important biological role, but it looks pretty cute too.

I found an awesome tutorial for DNA earrings online at:
 http://www.fresno.k12.ca.us/schools/S090/_atkinsgatebio/beadproject/GenJewelProjCtr.html

I followed the tutorial pretty closely, though I only used 2 colors of bugle beads instead of 4, which equates to only using 2 of the 4 nitrogenous bases. I used white and blue seed beads and light blue and blue bugle beads.

action shot! (and a HUGE shot of my ear)

Yay for DNA!

*edit*
I made another pair of DNA earrings for Hanau for the Earring Binge Swap

And I made a DNA necklace for Needlesandpins for the Biology Nerd Swap

Cute! I <3 biology. Your earrings would make any biology/genetics nerd squeal with joy. Hell, it made me squeal.  Smiley
