(First off, apologies if this is in the wrong board, couldn't think where else to put it so mods feel free to move)

So the craft society at my uni had a beeswax candle-making workshop and I had some fun making these pretties.

We had a woman come in and lead the workshop, talk us through each type of candle and all that. It was actually a pretty simple process of rolling and so on, but fairly fiddly to get each candle rolling straight and standing up properly (especially the taller ones). Anyhow, just thought I'd share with you the candles I made Wink

I picked some Christmassy colours for the medium sized ones

Here's a couple of cone-shaped ones and some 'practice' minis

Aaand a pair of big table candles.

Im happy with how most of the turned out and they all have that lovely beeswaxy smell to them; my hands stank of it afterwards, bonus! :p I guess the moral of this story is, give beeswax candles a try; they're pretty easy to make and smell super nice :3 Thanks for looking.

They look great. I haven't used beeswax sheets before, only melted the beads. Looks like a very fun and useful workshop

These look really lovely and I bet they are much easier than the melted wax!

Thank you, and yes I was surprised at how simple the whole process was. Pretty enjoyable for a casual wee workshop :3
