Hey all, who's ready for another round of the Mini Art Quilt Swap? The last one started in March, yikes!

As far as timeline, I'm thinking sign-ups right after Christmas, partners around Jan 5th and sendouts around Valentine's Day. 5-6 weeks should be plenty of time even though we've had a bit more in the past.

Quote
Details of swap:

This swap is to make a mini quilt for your partner! We are only going to swap the mini quilt itself, no extras required, so we can focus on making the quilt. If partners agree you may send a couple of tiny extras, but they are not required and you must check with your partner to see if it is ok.  The size of the quilt should be between 1 and 2 feet square (12 to 24 inches), with any size, shape, and dimensions that fits within those parameters. So 12 x 18 inches is ok, and so is a 15 inch circle, but any one side shouldnt be smaller than 12 inches or longer than 24 inches.

Use whatever methods you want to make a lovely art quilt for your partner! Piecing, embroidery, hand dying fabric, adding beads or charms, etc.

I've truthfully been avoiding this swap every time it comes up. Not because it isn't AWESOME BEYOND BELIEF...but I can only do block quilts -.-U I don't do curves or applique. All the other quilters intimidate me with their mad skills and I can honestly say whatever I make would be inferior Tongue (Plus my machine is an evil demon spawn from hell sometimes >.>)

Hmmm.   Well.... Hmmmm.... The last two I did stretched me so far out of my usual. I absolutely HAVE to keep it up.  Guess I'll be in again. Smiley

Seeking scraps! I'm in need of a variety of white on white scraps. (2.5inch square minimum) for pixel quilts. Have any? Swap for? PM me! Smiley
