Thank you so much for the pattern. I made this doll for my daughter Christmas of 2008. I found some errors in the pattern, but I was aware it was not tested yet.  I managed and she loved it...she is 20 years old and still plays Zelda.  Cool

It is photo 10 of 11 photos in my album. I apologize that I could not give you a better link.

Oh, I'm sorry!  Sad I've had a few people e-mail me because they don't understand how to attach the legs, but I haven't heard about errors anywhere else. Do you remember what you had trouble with??

Hi guys,

First of all thanks sooooo much for the pattern.  Can anyone help explain how to attach the legs?  Is the stitch count off?

Thanks

You crochet through one side of the legs and the "bottom" at the same time, then go to the next row and it crochets through the other side.
It's kind of hard to explain but I promise if you follow the pattern it works. If you can't get the stitch count perfect I'd divide the legs into the sides and front and back. I can't at this point remember if my stitch count was off or not. I typically ignore stitch count and just follow directions.

Thanks for the pattern. I have some friends who are naming their son Link. This would be absolutely perfect.

This topic refuses to die.  Cheesy Wow.

Anyway! I'm in the process of pdf-ifying this for my website, and I think I'm just gonna bite the bullet and get rid of the funny leg attaching steps. Just make the butt and sew on the legs after.
BUT~!
I'm not aware of any errors besides this. Have any of you found any? I'd like to fix them before I finish the pdf.

Hello.. I know this topic is a little old by now, but..

I was just wondering if you ever resolved the issue ofattaching the legs? I've gotten stuck at this part and I can't figure it out.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give Smiley

Oh gosh, it's been so long... your best bet is to make the bottom with NO leg attaching, just a plain oval, and sew the legs on afterwards. Sorry I can't be of more help!  Embarrassed
